He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Griffith and Dorothy Griffith (Pitts); and his siblings, Shirley Lintner, Peggy Villard, Ronnie Pritchard and John Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, James "Jimmy" Griffith (Susan), Holly Shiposh (Christopher) and Kimberly Bartlett (Patrick); his grandchildren, Jade Howell (Jamie), Drew, Jacob, Ethan and Angelina Griffith; his children, Christopher Jr., Tyler Shiposh, Kameron, Kaitlyn Long, Landon, Jaden Rambo (Victoria) and Alyssa Stinson (Jalin); and his great grandchildren, Mia, Harlow and Alaiya. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
