It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James J. Somogy Jr. of Massillon, Ohio, who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Donna Somogy Sr. (Owens); and his sister Peggy. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his son Michael; his sisters, Linda, Jean and Jane; his grandchildren, Dylan and Rayna; his father-in-law Sam; and his brother-in-law Sammy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the DAV in Massillon, and/or the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
