He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Cooperider and Margaret Dominic. He is survived by: his wife Linda Cooperider; his children, Rick Cooperider (Debbie), Jim Cooperider (Jill) and Sue Marceric (Tim); his grandchildren, Nicole, Jessica, Jimmy, Michael and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Bryson, Ayden, Micah, Emmaline and Wyatt; and his pets, Suzie and Sammy Jo.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
