John Maurer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Maurer (Massillon, Ohio), born in River Rouge, Michigan, who passed away on September 18, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Maurer and Berdella Maurer (Snyder); his sons, Kevin, Brett and Joe; and his siblings, Ralph, Louis, Joe, Anthony, Albert, Bobby, Peter, Augest and Helen Pittman.

He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Maurer (Suzanne) and Brian Maurer (Iris); his daughter-in-law Christy Maurer; his grandchildren, Jason Maurer (Richelle), Jeremy Maurer (Hanzel), Josh Maurer, Jamie Maurer, Jessica Peters (Ben), Ian Maurer (Alyssa), Molly, Kyle Maurer and Bonnie Maurer; and his siblings, Leroy "Buck" Maurer of Canton, Pat Maurer (Chrystal) of Mansfield, Mary Webster of Florida, Agnes DeVaul of Massillon, Elizabeth of North Carolina and Patty Ann Eberhardt of Orville. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
