We bid farewell to John Rachel of Massillon, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 13, 2026 at the age of 88. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rachel and Agnes Rachel (Duffy); his stepbrother Jay Rachel; and his grandson Jason Davis. He is survived by: his wife Stella Rachel (Appman); his daughter Pamela Sandy; his son-in-law Raymond Lynn (Herb); his daughter Lori; his children-in-law, Curtis Alloy and Heidi Rachel (Hostetler); his sisters, Rita Thrasher and Marlene Leeper; and his stepsiblings, Robert, Daniel Rachel and Susan Wyant. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 21 great- grandchildren.
