She was predeceased by: her daughter Julia Lessig; her mother Marjorie Chastain; her stepparents, Frank Chastain and Diana Chastain; and her mother-in-law Frances Cormican.

She is survived by: her wife Amanda Cormican of Ohio; her daughter Rusti Eicle (Dave) of Indiana; her granddaughter Gracie "Pooh Bear" Lessig of Indiana; her siblings, Chuck Chastain (Jamie) of Indiana and Kim Hall (Wes) of Virginia; and her sisters-in-law, Miranda Alexander (Fred) of Ohio, Mariah Cormican (Rob) of Ohio, Tonya Amstutz (Jason) of Indiana and Michelle Boggs (Shannon) of Indiana. She is also survived by step-siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
