Leona Wascherle Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leona Wascherle of Massillon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Preece and Edith Preece (Stanford); and her husband James A. Wascherle. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Palmer (John) and Ron Wascherle (Lisa); her grandchildren, Natalie Russ (Matt), Ryan Wascherle and Emily Wascherle; and her great grandchildren, Connor Russ and Aiden Russ.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Paquelet and Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Homes (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House, Cleveland Clinic Children's Hospital Chapter.
