He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewitt Bishop and Catherine Bishop (Mead) of Massillon, OH.; his siblings, Lillie Christie and Gregory D. Bishop; his stepchildren, Jamie Riese and Billy Riese; and his nephew Dewitt C. Bishop III.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Bishop (Null); his children, Lori Oliver (Roger), Curt Bishop, Lisa Anderson (Nick) and Denise Weiman; his stepsons, Mike Riese (Angela) and Rick Riese; his son Robert Carrigan; his siblings, Darla A. Bishop, Dewitt C. Bishop, Jr., Tom Bishop and Saundra Bucci (Lanny); and his daughter-in-law Gennie Riese. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
