Louis O. Cober Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louis O. Cober (Massillon, Ohio), who passed away on June 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cober and Geneva Cober (Zook); and his sons-in-law, James H. Fortner and Timothy L. Hershberger. He is survived by: his wife Ruth M. Cober of Mount Joy, PA; his children, Lynette Cumpston (John) of Dalton, OH, Lorinda Fortner of Naples, FL and Dr. Sheldon R. Cober (Sanjana) of Portland, OR.; and his grandchildren, Joshua (Emily), Joel Hershberger (Kirsten), Danae Schutt (Caleb), Jeremy (Pamela), Jesse (Sarah), Jacob Fortner, Kiara, Tatiana and Sirena Cober.
