She was predeceased by: her father Glendle Griffin; and her son Wayne Phillips. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey Viront; her son Russell Phillips (Michelle); her grandsons, Seth Phillips (Jerra) and Samuel Phillips (Darby); her great grandchildren, Chase Phillips, Brantley Phillips, Adelyn Phillips and Rosie Michelle Phillips; her stepson Jeremy Viront (Dawn); and her brother Boyd Griffin (Jan).
