She was predeceased by: her father Arnold Boak; her husband Delmer Sampson; her son Mark A Shilling; and her siblings, Elizabeth R. Christner, Albert A. Boak, Robert P. Boak, Mary A. Hostetler, Rita M. Burger and Bert J Boak.

She is survived by: her children, Tamara Jo Mickley and Dennis M Shilling; and her sisters, Donna J. Ritter (Howard), Lucille J. Holmes and Doris A. Fisher. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
