He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Amey (Galasso). He is survived by: his father Robert Amey (Nancy); his sister Luann Smith (Nick Herron); his nieces and nephews, Sydney Smith (Seth Casto) and Adam Herron; his siblings, Joyce Collins (Mark Devane), Vicki Mowery (Mark), Chris Strobel (Lori) and Jim Haught (Rachel); his nieces, Alexis Collins and Olivia Mowery; and his close friends, Paul and Paula Lesniak. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Towpath Family Church of the Nazarene (771 Cherry St E, Canal Fulton, OH 44614). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
