He is survived by: his mother Brooke Hackmann (Reed); his wife Lora Myers; his daughters, Lottie Brooke and Mia Grace; his pet Tobie; his father A. J. Myers (Megan); his stepfather David Langenfeld; his siblings, Nichole Green (Christopher), Mary Hannen (Adam), Nathan Langenfeld, Fred Myers (Katie), Maria McCarty, Nathan Hackmann, Stacia Hackmann and Celeste Hackmann; his grandparents, Gary, JuDee Reed and Becky Myers (Jeannie Tidwell); and his parents-in-law, Chris and Teresa Conway. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stark County Humane Society or Stop Soldier Suicide, two causes close to Michael's heart, in honor of his compassion-for animals and for those who serve.
