He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Finsel and Margaret Finsel (Eckert). He is survived by: his wife Susan; his sons, Michael Finsel, Jr. and Bryan Scrimo (Amy); and his siblings, Marilyn Netzel (Adolph), Jane Evans, Barb Miller, Bea Bradshaw, Tom Finsel, Janice Majestic and Bill Finsel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Saint John the Baptist (627 McKinley Ave NW, Canton, OH 44703).
