He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Mitchell Sr. and Dixie Mitchell; and his siblings, Bertha Johnson, Lucy Pettaway, Doretha Cochrane, Lillie Belle Palmer, Thomas McClyde and Henry Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Mitchell; his brothers, Kevin Mitchell (Patricia) and Robert Mitchell (Saundra); and his sister-in-law Rebecca Thompson (Dean). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Gregory-Martin Funeral Chapel (255 S 7th St, Steubenville, OH 43952). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
