He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Smith; and his siblings, Linda Nelson and Jim Lawson. He is survived by: his girlfriend Kimmy Kline; and his siblings, Mike Smith (Sharon) and Sandi Copeland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
