He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cottrill and Emjean Cottrill (Carson); his wife Virginia Cottrill; and his brothers, Timothy, Leroy and Joseph Cottrill.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Cottrill, Michael Cottrill, Tiffany Cottrrill and Vicky Cottrill; and his siblings, Pamela Cottrill and Edward Cottrill. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
