He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Maxhimer and Helen Maxhimer (Neal); and his brother Terry Maxhimer. He is survived by: his siblings, Sherry Patrick, Jan Miller (Doug) and Russell "Rusty" Maxhimer (Wilma); and his nieces and nephews, Darron Maxhimer, Heather Peters (Jim), Megan Blake (Josh), Aaron Miller (Stacey Hatchell), Nicole Maxhimer and Emily Maxhimer.

“Yes my condolences to sherry, rusty, Jan, an all the Maxhimers that are left, it was a privilege to grow up with you guys an have such wonderful memories, swimming , an playing football like it was obsession, I remember terry dropping a hatchet out that big beech tree at the end of your drive, on cubby's head, crazy things we did as kids.
