He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Common and Marcella Common; his brother Richard Common; and his former wife Cindy. He is survived by: his wife Lyn Common; his children, Tim Common (Julia), Chad Common (Cindy), Tara Reid, Amber Thompson (Steven) and Jacob Common; his stepdaughters, Ashley Perrin (Ken) and Amy Lutz (Judd); and his sisters, Maryann Graham (Dick), Cheryl Huprich (Bob) and Lisa Koontz (John). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home (1803 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
