With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Hookey of Massillon, Ohio, born in McDonald, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hookey and Rose Hookey (Saver); his wife Sarah Jane Hookey; his close friend Joann McCall; and his sister Judy Hartzell.
He is survived by: his children, Herman, Kyle Hookey (Tammy) of Warrensburg, Kevin Hookey (Toby) of Ontario, Krista Bean (Christian) of Westford and Kara Hookey of Newark; his grandchildren, Kyle Robert Hookey II (Bethany), Seth Hookey, Talos Hookey, Ariel Hookey, Alessandra Bean, Jordan Reed and Jaret Pollock; his great grandchildren, Killian Michael Hookey and Abigail Lilian; and his brother Gerald Hookey (Douang Chanh).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Camp Valor Outdoors in Kingsville, Missouri (campvaloroutdoors.org), and/or to the American Legion post 221 in Massillon, Ohio (americanlegion221.org).
