He was predeceased by: his father Robert Harig; his daughter Christine Grimes; and his sister Carol Wenzel. He is survived by: his significant other Alithia Jonas; his children, Amy Gradijan and Jason Harig; his stepdaughter Annette Bonnell (Jay); his sisters, Connie Boney and Vicki Mathers (Tom); and his friends, Dave, Beverly Leak, Rose and Barbara. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
