He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Blake and Nellie Blake (Dunn); his wife Peggy; his brother Timothy Blake; his parents-in-law, Lilly Phillips and William Phillips; and his brothers-in-law, Douglas Reed, David Phillips and Robert Kemp.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Blake (Gail), Karen Detrow (Mike) and Krystal Dean (Jason); his grandchildren, Bryce Blake, Kensington Blake and Christian Dean; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Kemp, Chantelle Blake, Carol Phillips and William Phillips. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and granddogs.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to the Massillon Baptist Temple 1219 Overlook Ave SW Massillon, OH 44647, where Robert found immense comfort and support.
