She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Ricosky; and her siblings, Margaret Serban, Saundra Ricosky, Judy Winters, Robert Ricosky and Arthur "Butch" Ricosky.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas McAtee; her children, Denise McAtee (Vincent), Todd McAtee (Julie) and Angela McAtee; her grandchildren, Jessica, Nicole, Jordan, Caitlin, Michael, Gabrielle, Zachary and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Sullivan, Parker and Emerson; and her sister Linda Newsome (Joseph).

Donations in Ruth's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
