She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hamel and Francis Hamel (Clark); and her uncle Jack "Clarkie" Clark. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Stanton, James Stanton, Patrick Stanton (Christine Weaver) and Amy Portello; her brother John "Jack" Hamel; and her grandchildren, Alex Belty (Annie), Mark Belty, Ashely Mootz (Josh), Paige Townes, Justin Portello, Drew Stanton (Camie), Seth Stanton (Kalei), Nash Stanton and Hailey Stanton. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, an aunt, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home (1100 Wales Rd NE, Massillon, OH 44646). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
