She was predeceased by: her parents, Emanuel Whorten and Theresa Whorten (Kraynak); her husband Leon Schell; her son Lon Schell; her close friend Ron Hollenbaugh; her grandchildren, John McLaughlin, Melissa Schell and Jason "Buck" Foor; her great grandchildren, Romero Norris and Keagan Schell; and her siblings, Dorothy Esmond, Elmer, Richard, Robert and Daniel Whorten.
She is survived by: her children, Sandie Farrimond (John Seybert) of Farrell, Shelley McLaughlin (William) of Hubbard, OH, Loretta Foor (Thomas) of Transfer, Leon Schell, Jr. (Nancy) of Masury, Lance Schell (Pamela) of Masury, Neal Schell (Terri) of Sharon, Randall Schell (Dawn) of Sharon, Dale Schell (Gwen) of Masury and Guy Schell (Laura) of Pittsburgh; and her sisters, Edna Derrenbacher of Hermitage and Ilene Yudt of Transfer. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (1090 E State St, Sharon, PA 16146). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
