Arthur Glenn Meerdink Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur Glenn Meerdink (Maumee, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Allen Rodriguez; and his parents, Arthur Meerdink and Jennie Meerdink (Oonk). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Meerdink; his children, Mary Jen Meerdink (Bret Burrows), David Meerdink and Douglas Meerdink (Leia); his grandchildren, Amanda, Lindsay, Sutter and Arlo Meerdink; the mother of his children Grace Bell of Sylvania, Ohio.; his stepchildren, Dave Strayer (Judy Bondus), Laurie Strayer, Mark Strayer (Robyn) and Jenny Strayer; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew Strayer, William Strayer (Lily Schacht), Molly Brown (Erin) and Claire Moss (James); his sister Marion (Lloyd Walvoord); his stepmother Delia (Oonk Daane); his sister Doris (Ken Carlson); his friend Chaz; and also, Arlo and Micah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (200 E Broadway St, Maumee, OH 43537). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
