He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Schwind. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Richardson (Schwind); his children, Michael Richardson (Sara Kirk) and Kristen Richardson; his grandsons, Braydon and Luca; his brothers, Frank (Chris) and Gary (Susan); his father-in-law Glenn Schwind; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Baranski (Dave), Janet Sieminski (Danny) and Garry Schwind (Malinda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home (222 E South Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH 43551). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose Catholic Church (215 E Front St, Perrysburg, OH 43551).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Carl's memory are invited to donate to 33 for Charity or the Ohio State University Foundation (James Cancer Center).
