He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Krause and Richard Krause. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Repass); his children, Jeff, Tricia (Gabriel Cardenas) and Steven (Tisha); his grandchildren, Samantha, Noah, Nina, Ava, Grace, Katie, Johnathan, Clay and Irelynn; and his sister Diane (Michael Begg).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Don's honor to the Michael J. Fox Foundation or to St Paul's Lutheran Church.
