He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Cleghorn (Jack) and Mary Cleghorn (Arnold); his wife Sharon Pfleghaar; his son Thad; his grandsons, Drew and Ryan Cleghorn; and his siblings, Mary Catherine Menden (John) and James.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Karchner (Mark), Ellen Clark (Don) and Todd Cleghorn (Lisa); his grandchild Kendall; his great grandchildren, Brooks, Libbey, Thomas Cleghorn, Jack Karchner and Ella Newcomer; and his sister-in-law Judy Cleghorn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home (501 Conant St, Maumee, OH 43537). A Mass was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (104 W Broadway St, Maumee, OH 43537). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 11:50 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery - Maumee (104 W Broadway St, Maumee, OH 43537).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church building fund or Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
