Garnet M. McEwen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garnet M. McEwen of Maumee, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Norcross and Norma Norcross (Bonneau); her husband Donald McEwen; her son Jeff McEwen; her grandson Sean Kennedy; and her brother George Norcross.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Kennedy (John) and Bonnie Klatt (Ken); her daughter-in-law Brenda McEwen; her grandchildren, Kenny Klatt, Brian Kennedy (Laramie), Kalani McEwen (McKenzie), Robert Klatt (Carissa), Andrew Klatt and Courtney Lentz (Jared); her great grandchildren, Peyton, Micah, Aiden, Avalene, Emmett, Luna and Liam; and her sister Marian Blasingim (Billy).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
