The memory of Harry H. Garey of Maumee, Ohio, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Susan Garey and Harry H. Garey Sr.; and his parents-in-law, Marjorie Deters and Joseph Deters. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn J. Garey; his children, Victoria Ropp (Phillip) and Mathew Garey (Kolette); his grandchildren, Bennett, Madelyn Ropp, Faith Balanowski (Tyler) and Callie Shelton; his great grandchild Walter Balanowski; and his siblings, Linda Bruno and David Garey (Marjorie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A Mass was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish (5856 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Harry's name to St. Joan of Arc, Knights of Columbus Toledo Council 15905, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
