He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Wagener and Marcella Wagener (Pfleghaar); his wife Mary Wagener (Billmaier); his children, James, Jeffrey and Tamara; his siblings, Benny (Jane), Nick (Charlotte), Lee (Mary Lou), Tom (Jaque), Joseph, Bernadine (Frank) and Molly (Rich); and his sister-in-law Martha Mullins.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Wagener (Norm); his daughters-in-law, Becky and Jan Wagener; his siblings-in-law, Suzanne Morgan (Tom), Richard Mullins and Michael Billmaier (Linda); and his grandchildren, Jon Wagener, Jim Wagener, Jeff Wagener, Kimberly Barboza (Lupe), Josh Marsh (Robin), Justin Marsh (Alison), Alex Wagener, Mary Wagener, Sarah Norton (Matthew) and Becca Fox. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home (501 Conant St, Maumee, OH 43537). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery - Maumee Maumee (104 W Broadway St, Maumee, OH 43537).
