He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Breno and Mollie Breno (Leat); his nephews, Ryan and Tony; and his niece Donna.

He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Sarah Berry (Maumee) and John C. (Toledo); his siblings, Robert of Tariffville, CT, Monica Baltes of Orland Park, IL and Barbara Martin (Perrysburg); and his grandchildren, Brooklyn and Austin Berry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library.
