He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Curly Connolly and Eileen Connolly; his wife Beverly June Connolly (Braun); his daughters, Ann Connolly (Jason Doty), Laura Cranston (Cliff), Beverly "Jackie" Kiss (Mike), Breda Osburn (Michael) and Kathleen Connolly (Marion Leininger); his grandchildren, T. J. Dietz (Ashlee), Amber Kiss (Andy Thome), Dakota Dietz, Haley Dollarhide (James), Mikey Kiss, Eve, Isla Osburn and Jacob Rodriguez; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Cameron, Tucker Dietz, Jasmine Dollarhide and Garrett Thome; and his brothers, Pat, Billy and Flan Connolly.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home (501 Conant St, Maumee, OH 43537). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Ottawa Hills Memorial Park (4210 Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43606). His rich storytelling, the traditional tunes he curated, and the special guests he brought on—especially his nephew Mark Connolly, who kept listeners up to date with Irish sport and news during tough times like the Covid lockdowns—made it a treasured connection to home for many.
