He is survived by : his wife Tina Lee Armelagos (Dudek); his children, Holly Armelagos (Tramaine Poullard) and Corey Armelagos; his niece Ashley Guilkey; his nephew Kyle Dudek; his brothers-in-law, Johnny Dudek (Jennifer) and Earl Dudek; and his sweet Welch Corgi (Blue).

Later in his life, John was proud to create the Armelagos Family Foundation to assist children with special needs.
