In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Ellen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Ellen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Bernstein and Ellen Bernstein (Warren); and her husband Howard Bohannon. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas (Andrea) of Clermont and Timothy (Kim) of McKinney; her grandchildren, Erin Bohannnon, Brooke Loza (Efren), Sarah Brunner (Thomas) and Emily Bohannon; and her sister Joann Wittenburg. She is also survived by her six great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, one step great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer Association, Maumee Methodist Church and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
