She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Courtad and Edythe Courtad (Comstock); her husband Earl Laishley; and her siblings, Pat Steinman, Helen Emmet and Janet Wheeler.

She is survived by: her children, Pat McHugh, Deb Irving (Bill) and Julie Link; her grandchildren, Michelle Hunter (Jeff), Shawn McHugh (Jillian), Will Irving, Paul Irving (Amanda) and Jaclyn Keith (Todd); and her great grandchildren, Chase Hunter, Noah Hunter, Emma Keith, Carter Keith, Macy Irving, Avery Irving, Liam McHugh, Madison McHugh and Owen McHugh.
