He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kott and Ada Kott (Nowicki); his former wife Camille Kott (Mielczarek); and his siblings, Lillian Kwiatkowski and Donald Kott.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Kott; his daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Pelkey (Jerry) and Rhonda Bart; his grandchildren, Amanda Govze (Alex), Benjamin Becker (Jessica), Vince Bart (Lindsay) and Brittany Bart; his close friend Norm Drzwiecki (Kathy); and his brother Jerry Kott. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sujkowski Funeral Home (114 E Alexis Rd, Toledo, OH 43612). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (6149 Hill Ave, Toledo, OH 43615). A committal service will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (5725 Hill Ave, Toledo, OH 43615).
Memorial donations may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
