He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his sons, Samuel Nichols (Nanci Wise), Todd Nichols (Lisa) and Brian Vanna; his grandsons, Jason, Jeremy and Anthony; his brother Wallie Nichols (Janet); and his brother-in-law Alden Pedersen.
