He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Shaffer (Muir) and Jack Muir; his brother Mark Muir; and his in-laws, Dick and Marie Smietanski.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie Smietanski; his sons, Chase (Kim McPherson Muir) and Josh (Jessica Eileen); his granddaughters, Josie, Lucy and Maggie; and his brother Tim Muir.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brandywine Country Club (6904 Salisbury Rd, Maumee, OH 43537).
