He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gressler and Viola Gressler; and his wife Mildred "Midge" Gressler. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Barbara Kurtz; his children, Scott Gressler and Vicki Rosie; and his grandsons, Todd Kurtz (Missy) and Ryan Kurtz (Tracy).

The military honors will be held on Wednesday, December 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Whitehouse Cemetery.
