Paul Quinn wrote a sympathy message

“No room in the previous.... I shared his love and passion for F1 racing and was lucky enough to attend the Italian GP one year and knew he would be watching the race so I called him right before the cars screamed down the racetrack in front of me. As soon as he said hello and asked where I was the cars screamed by and I could also hear them screaming by from his TV set he was watching. He couldn't believe I was there and I called him from the race track. We both got a good chuckle! Paul Quinn”

“I am so terribly sorry to hear about Dean's passing. He was a great guy with always a smile on his face. I met Dean many, many years ago through Dave Dragony and over the years spent time with him hanging out talking about cars, bikes and die cast collectibles. Even though I moved to Texas many years ago I still talked to him occasionally and can still hear his laugh as if we were talking on the phone today. He will be missed. Paul Quinn”
