He was predeceased by: his wife Verna Penca; his parents, Frank A. Penca and Carolina Penca; and his daughter Carolyn Snyder. He is survived by: his children, Gerald Penca (Robin) and Laurie Penca (late Colin Smith); his grandchildren, Christine Walmsley, Melanie Penca, Dan Penca (Magdalene), Rob Snyder (Cathy), Michael Snyder (Jackie) and Julie Culbertson (Keith); and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Nicholas Walmsley, Claire, Rhett Snyder, Ella, Carolyn Snyder, Cade, Miles Culbertson and Veronica Penca.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Notre Dame, Chardon, Ohio.
