He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elijah Wheeler and Evelyn Wheeler; his brother Aaron Wheeler; his wife Jacquetta Diane Wheeler; his children, Gregory E. Wheeler Jr. (La Donna), Jermaine Brown (Twila), Dr. Latia Phillips-Bey (Kumar), Sharisa Lee, Eboni Wheeler, Tamika Richards (James), Yasmin Blankenship and India Blankenship; his brothers, Rev. Charles Wheeler (Ramona), Elijah L. Wheeler (Allana), Reginald Wheeler (Kim), Kenneth, Rod and Thomas (Sabryna); and his sister-in-law Barbara Wheeler. He was also cherished by his 18 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
