He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Geraldine; and his stepmother Julie Buckley. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his stepchildren, Kathy Letizio (late Dan), Kris Smith and Jim Smith (Susan); his grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Marissa Smith (Ariel Hoage), Kelsey Letizio (Keanu Hallowell) and Halle Mahoudo (Erwan); and his great grandchildren, Emercyn and Addison Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Cypress Hospice, (cypresshospice.com), 2 Berea Commons, Suite 1, Berea, Oh 44017.
