He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Perella, Sr. and Joan Welty; and his grandparents, Angelo, Elizabeth Perella, Joseph and Angela Marino.

He is survived by: his wife Michele; his daughters, Angela (Joliene) and Amanda; his brother John Perella; and his stepparents, Kathy Perella and Lester Welty.
