We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Margaret Batig of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by: her son David W. Batig; her former husband Richard W. Batig; and her parents, Robert Maher and Margaret Maher. She is survived by: her friend Church; her daughters, Colleen S. Fielding (Jerry), Sharon R. Batig and Kathy L. Bell (Ash); her grandchildren, Katie (Vince), Rebekah (Jake), Lydia (Brandon), Sarah, Corban, Grayson, Ryan, Hannah (Isaac), Noah (Kacie) and J. C.; her great grandchildren, Paisley, Adleigh and Asher; and her brother Robert Maher (Charlotte). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In 2020 during the pandemic, she finally retired from the DMV in Chesterland.
