Minerva L. Ward Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minerva L. Ward (Mayfield Heights, Ohio), who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard J. Ward; her parents, Irene Lavdas and George P. Lavdas of Andros; and her brother Peter G. Lavdas. She is survived by: her daughters, Lorene Ward (Jim Thompson) and Georgeann Tropiano (Robert); her grandchildren, Anthony Tropiano, Amy Guerrieri (Stephen) and Alexa Russ (Ray); her great grandchildren, Brooks, Addison, Lainey and Riley; and her godchild Argie Demas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Minerva's memory may be made to Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral Library or International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC).
