With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth (Hemmings) A. MacDougall of Mayfield Heights, Ohio, born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 6, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hemmings and Mary Hemmings (Harrington); and her siblings, John, Dave, Herb, Harold, Donald, George, Richard, Paul, Robbie, Shirley Seighman, Mary Pohts and Alice Ingram.
She is survived by: her husband John L. MacDougall; her daughter Elizabeth A. MacDougall; and her siblings, Carol Lee, Donna Pokey and Lee Hemmings. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mayfield Church United (7747 Mayfield Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
