William E. DeCapite Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of William E. DeCapite (Mayfield Heights, Ohio). William, born on August 25, 1924, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember William for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward DeCapite and Carmela DeCapite; his wife Rose; his daughter Jill; and his son-in-law George.

He is survived by: his daughter Fran (Joe Sosnowski); and his grandchildren, Scott Sosnowski and Emily DeCapite (Emily Kreinest). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the DiCicco & Sons Funeral Home (5975 Mayfield Rd, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124).
